British Telecom

PDT have been manufacturing fixed line telephones since 1993. As this business evolved we became one of the major suppliers to BT, producing over 3 million units to date. In addition to fixed line telephone hardware (Duet and Paragon ranges), we have also developed a range of products to help take BT into new markets and create new revenue streams. These products have included the Caller 70 free standing caller ID display, Ultimate 106 PABX system and the Call Sign call filtering device.

We also developed the GlobalTuner for BT in 2000: the world's first internet radio. This used a USB transmitter to stream audio to the portable radio, allowing users to pick up on thousands of free internet radio stations. The product was awarded the Consumer Electronics Show innovations award in 2003

Hewlett Packard

We have the exclusive global brand licence to design, manufacture and distribute HP VoIP products. This has developed from our expertise in computer peripherals and integrated VoIP hardware. We now have sufficient specialist knowledge to bring products to market faster and more effectively.

Our HP range is continually expanding. To date it has included a range of VoIP starter kits (everything you need to start using VoIP in a box), and a range of plug and play USB devices with full Skype integration. Click here to view our HP VoIP products.

EasyGroup

We designed and manufactured the EasyNet card readers that are used in the EasyNet Cafés (part of the EasyGroup). The device combined a 52-in-1 card reader with a sound card to allow users to download images and data and make VoIP calls. The device also supported two high speed USB 2.0 ports for fast data transmission speeds. Clothed in a bright orange housing to match the Easy branding, the devices are now in use in the EasyNet cafes.

Google and Yahoo

We designed and manufactured various hardware items for these established online names in order to promote their VoIP services.

Tesco

We have worked with Tesco to integrate our HP products with the Tesco Internet Phone VoIP service. This has allowed both brands to gain further market share and establish their products and services.

Olympus

We developed a range of phone hardware for Olympus including fixed line phones, answer machines, cordless phones and caller ID display units. We also developed and patented an answer machine that dials 1471 after a message is left in order to record the users details.

Skype/VoIP Voice

We developed the world's first Skype phones. We produced a range of USB phones under the VoIP Voice brand that were fully integrated with Skype software, allowing users to scroll through contacts and make calls from the handset. These were the first products of their kind and created the market for VoIP hardware. It also made VoIP calls far more accessible to the average user and had a major impact on the uptake of Skype.

Further to the success of our USB phones, we have made a range of Skype products. These include a selection of starter packs (containing everything a user needs to get going on Skype, including SkypeOut credit) and the first Skype hardware for Apple Mac (this was the first phone hardware to be put in the Apple Store). We also produced a range of promotional items such as Valentine's Skype headsets designed to be distributed in New York on Valentines Day.

United Online

We manufactured a range of branded VoIP hardware for United Online, including USB phones with Skype integration, and both stereo and mono headsets.
